National University of Cordoba was founded in 1613. It is located in Cordoba, the capital of Cordoba Province. The university is the oldest in Argentina, the fourth oldest in South America and the sixth oldest in Latin America. The university offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The Faculty of Chemistry is one of the most prestigious schools in the country. Its main strength lies in scientific research, both basic and applied. Its purpose aims at creating genuine knowledge. This activity takes place in various scientific laboratories installed in the seven academic departments of the Faculty of Chemistry, integrating the organizational structure of the institution. These apartments’ feature-art technological advances, comparable in many cases with international class laboratories. More than 650 research faculty with great academic experience in racing Biochemistry, Pharmacy and Chemistry Degree, together with the non-teaching staff accompany the training of undergraduate and graduate students.
