National University of Cuyo was founded in 1939. It is the largest center of higher education in the province of Mendoza, Argentina. The university offers undergraduate and graduate programs in various study areas. The Faculty of Applied Sciences Industry gathers curricular activities in areas belonging to the respective Departments of Allied Subjects: Physics - Mathematics, Chemistry, General Education and Humanities; Engineering and Management; Biology and Food; and Chemical Engineering, all dependent Academic Secretary. The Department of Chemistry is present in all races that take place in the Faculty: Chemical Engineering, Engineering in Food Industries, Food Science, Faculty of Chemistry, University Tecnicatura in Enology and Viticulture. The race of Chemical Engineering has three orientations: Orientation in Petrochemical, in Mineralurgy and Environment. The Faculty of Applied Sciences Industry prepares university graduates with a solid scientific general and specialized technical training necessary to address comprehensively the wine chemical, food, and the field of lifelong learning. The Faculty of Applied Sciences offers undergraduate degree programs in chemistry and chemical engineering.
