Sungshin Women's University was founded in 1936. The School of Biological Sciences and Chemistry offers a variety of courses that cover the structures and natures of atoms and molecules, the basic elements constituting substances, and courses that cover the structure and properties of molecules, such as Physical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, and Biochemistry. The department is nurturing gifted people who can exercise their abilities with scientific thinking and creative ideas in various fields of society through the theories and experiments of these two disciplines.
