We offer high-quality undergraduate and graduate programs including several that are unique in Western Canada, for example, a Bachelor of Arts in Human Rights and Global Studies, and a Master’s degree in Aboriginal Governance. University of Winnipeg offers a Major program designed to give students a solid background in undergraduate Chemistry. The courses available are suf f icient to allow students the basis for specialization in Analytical, Organic, Inorgani c, Physical Chemistry or Biochemistry. The Department of Chemistry offers a B.Sc. General (3-year), a B.Sc. (4-year) and a B.Sc.(Honours) degree. An additional option available is the B.Sc. (4-year) degree program in Applied Chemistry which is jointly offered by The University of Winnipeg and Red River College.The Research Office at The University of Winnipeg serves faculty and   students in their exciting and strengthening commitments to a rich array of  research projects. A community of scholars and scientists pursue basic research that inquires into fundamental questions in each of the academic disciplines.
