The University of Texas at El Paso is part of the University of Texas System and has a growing vibrant campus with a truly diverse student body. As an integral component of this great University, the Chemistry Department has outgrown it's current location and will occupy a new state-of- the-art building in 2011. The department offers a Bachelor of Science degree that is certified by the American Chemical Society. It also offers Master of Science (M.S.) degree and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree. These degrees are designed to be consistent with the students professional goals. The research is tremendous in various areas.
