Xi'an Jiaotong University

Xi'an Jiaotong University was founded in 1896. It is located in Xi'an, Shaanxi, and China. The university is one of the country's oldest institutions of higher learning. Xi'an Jiaotong University is a comprehensive research university offering programs in areas of science, engineering, medicine, economics, management, art, law, philosophy, education, etc. The university has major emphasis on science and engineering. The School of Science of Xi’an Jiaotong University was founded in 1930 and then renamed as the Science College in 1937. The department of chemistry has developed very fast with the strong support from Xi’an Jiaotong University in basic research fields. The department of applied chemistry has now become an institute combining science and pharmacy, teaching and research. The School of Chemical Engineering and Technology was established in 1995. Currently, the College consists of Chemical Engineering, Process Equipment and Control Engineering. It offers three master's degree in chemical process machinery, chemical engineering & chemical technology.
